Meet up for mummies
|

An online friend came back from Taiwan recently had requested a meet up of mummies who's was very interested in photography at the nearby Bottle Tree Park in Yishun. We 'met' in an online parenting forum specially catered to the local moms here. Even though it was a first time meeting for some of us, the day went by without any dull moments because the moms can really talk non stop, online or offline!
Even though some of the moms and me had already been to this place several times, we could not pass off the opportunity of meeting some friends for the first time.
Nothing comes between me and my camera, not even my coach handbag!

Henderson Waves.

At 36 metres above Henderson Road, Henderson Waves is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It was built to connect the two hills of Mount Faber and Telok Blangah Hill.
The bridge has a unique wave-form made up of seven undulating curved steel “ribs” that alternately rise over and under its deck. The curved “ribs” form alcoves that function as shelters with seats within.But of course it doesn't really shelters one from the rain.
Slats of yellow balau wood, an all-weather timber found in South-East Asia, are used in the decking. Look out for carvings on the slats marking the height you are at on various points along the bridge.
The wave-forms will be lit with attractive LED light from 7pm to 2am daily, giving the bridge an illuminative glow.

Sebelum naik ke cablecar menuju ke Genting, ternampak pulak satu adengan menyusukan anak kera di sana. kecil lagi anak monyet tu, ingat kan minum susu tapi air teh rupanya. Sungguh manja monyet tu di pangku oleh tuan nya, selepas perut penuh....nak pegang tapi mummy takut pulak, jagi tengok aje dan rakam gambar buat kenangan lagi best.

Genting Part 1

Went up the mountain with my brother and his family 2 weeks ago for a short break, I'm more interested in the scenery while the 2 niece and nephew were enjoying themselves silly with all the kiddy rides there. We stayed at The ThemePark Hotel new wing, which I like better than First World Hotel due to it's charming architecture.

While the adults gone bonkers doing the shopping around Petaling Street last Sunday, I managed to keep the 2 niece and nephew amused by being my models, of course plus lots of bribery.
My young niece the part-time assistance.
these really tempt me..especially the chocolates!

pangillan Baitullah..

Semalam sempat hantar ibu dan ibu saudara yang hendak mengerjakan ibadah haji di Baitullah, nasib baik datang siang sikit dan dan tidak terlalu sesak dengan sedara mara yang hendak hantar. Satu orang yang pergi tapi lebih dari 30 yang hantar kat airpot, nasib baik lah airpot tu besar . Ada 3 terminal di Changi Airport jadi tak lah jadi masalah bagi penumpang lain yang hendak check in juga.
nenek dan cucu kesayangan posing kejap, ini anak kepada adik lelaki mummy. Sempat pulak tu ibu meminta mummy mengambil gambar ni mengunakan handphone nya dan digunakan sebagai screen saver nya. Dapat lah dia lepaskan rindu bila lihat gambar ni bila berada di Mekah nanti.
Semoga Tuhan mempermudahkan perjalanan mereka berdua ni selama menjadi tetamu di bumi Allah, dan mendapat haji yang mabrur. Sehingga bertemu lagi sebulan dari sekarang.
