Khai Nok Island, Phuket

Khai Nok has a beautiful snow-white sandy beach surrounded by crystal clear emerald green water, perfect for swimming and snorkelling.
Since Khai Nok are used for day trips you will not be alone, but most people stay on the side facing Phuket. Where small tropical fish swim in shallow crystal clear water, waiting to be fed by tourists.
Since we went on a low season, there were only a few boat trip that make the stop there so the island is not too crowded. We had a great time swimming and feeding the fishes there. Definitely worth travelling all the way from Singapore , because this island is almost like a paradise to me, with it's beautiful crystal clear water and white sandy beaches. 0nly one side of the island is suitable for swimming/snorkelling due to it's strong current and high waves. We had to forgo a snorkelling trip in the open sea too due to this but we're not complaining, since we had more time to spend at this beautiful beach.

Patong Beach, Phuket
|

With more than 500+ photos, I need to go through them slowly and pick just a few to share here. The only time the camera had a good break was during meal times and swimming, either at the beach or the pool.
I stayed at the Baan Boa Resort, just opposite the Patong Beach but slightly a walking distance away from the busy area with shops and restaurants. I'm glad I made the right choice, since our major activities beside shopping and eating is the chill out time at the beach or pool.
Will try and post more photos later, so do keep on coming back for more, ok....

Mr Baoz

Ini bukan donut tapi pao dari Mr Baoz, beli di City Square, Johore Bahru. Kat Singapore belum ada lagi ni...
Sedap dan lembut pao ni, yang di barisan atas berintikan daging, manakala yang dibawah pula berinti manis. Mummy cuma dapat rasa kat kedai tu aje yang dibeli bawak balik habis dibedal oleh anak2.

Sarapan roti dan telor

Cepat dimasak dan sedap di makan, tapi bukan mee maggi tau....
Ini disiapkan olih anak bujang mummy, senang aje, scrambled telor dan letak atas roti prancis yang sudah dipotong dan dibakar. Kemudian letak sedikit mayonaisse, worchestershire sauce dan tabur dengan sedikit bonito flakes ( hirisan ikan dari Jepun).Lepas tu ngap lah!
Ini roti John, semua orang tahu buat kan?
Roti cheese goreng, resipi ni di jumpa dalam internet tapi terlupa pulak kat mana. Senang aje, gelek roti dengan pengelek supaya leper, kemudian letak sekeping cheese dan tangkup dua. Celup telor yang sudah dipukul dan golekkan dengan breadcrumps dan goreng hingga garing. Cheese akan cair bila di goreng , jadi memang sedap makan panas2 ni.
Yang ini lagi senang, letak lebihan kuah kheema ( mincemeat curry) tabur mozarella cheese and bakar dalam toaster oven sehingga cheese cair. Kari ayam atau daging pun boleh, cuma perlu siat siat kan isi ayam/daging dulu.
Egg in Toast (or as some may call Egg in the Basket)
2 slices of bread
1 piece of cheese
1 egg
a little knob of butter/margarine
Method:
1) Using a knife or scissors, cut a square from 1 slice of bread or use a mould to cut away the bread.
2) Divide the 1 piece of cheese into 4 strips.
3) Place the (uncut) slice of bread on toaster tray. Line the strips of cheese on top the 4 sides of bread. Stack the other slice of bread (the one with the cut-out square) on top. Press the sides a little.
4) Gently, break the egg into the centre cut square. Put a little butter on the yolk.
5) Toast for about 6 minutes, done! Add some white or black pepper if you like.
